Tony Beauregard - Park Supervisor
Lake Lahonton

Anthony “Tony“ Beauregard is the Park Supervisor at Lahontan State Recreation Area, near Fallon, Nevada.  He began his career while attending the University of Nevada, Reno working summers with Washoe County Parks and Recreation.

In 1995, he began his full time career with Nevada State Parks.  Southern Nevada was home for 10 years working at Valley of Fire State Park and Spring Mountain Ranch State Park just outside of Las Vegas.

Tony welcomed the opportunity to move back to Northern Nevada in 2005 and again near the Sierra Nevada Range.  He grew up in Bishop California so the Sierras always had been somewhere in sight.  Snow Skiing has become his most enduring hobby; summers are quite full for Park Rangers.

As a Park Ranger the term “jack of all trades” really does come to mind.  A park like Lahontan becomes a small city every weekend with 3,000 plus residents. Rangers are the police force, paramedics, plumbers, teachers, and literally, wild goose chasers for 25,000 acres of desert.  Personally, Tony wouldn’t want it any other way.
