The Lilley Museum of Art’s permanent collection offers a remarkable window into diverse artistic traditions, mediums, and historical moments. Spanning centuries and continents, the collection showcases an array of works that invite viewers to explore the impressive depth and breadth of human creativity and expression. Stephanie Gibson will provide an introduction to the Lilley Museum of Art’s permanent collection, highlighting the Director’s favorite pieces, with a discussion about how art appreciation is a critical component to a robust liberal arts education.
