Business Continuity Planning

Will your organization stay operational after a disaster or emergency?

  • Do you have an emergency response or business continuity plan?
  • Have you identified your mission essential resources, tasks, and processes?

Gayle completed a Doctor of Business Administration concentrating on emergency management and business continuity planning. In 2010, Gayle established Galena Property Development LLC to work closely with organizations on the development of business continuity management programs to ensure they can stay operational during any disruptive event.

Gayle has been a licensed architect for 40 years and spent years of her career working on the design and construction of retail stores. For 15 years, Gayle served as Senior Vice President of Property Develop for a global retail company based in Paris. This position took her to countries around the world to manage all aspects of opening and remodeling retail stores for luxury goods. As part of the position, Gayle oversaw emergency response and continuity planning.

Gayle learned about Rotary as a small child in Kansas because her dad attended Rotary dinner meetings every Thursday night. In 1998, Gayle’s high school daughter, Heidi, went to Sweden as a Rotary exchange student, and Gayle’s family has had the pleasure of hosting two international exchange students. Gayle attends Hope Community Church in South Reno. In her spare time, she enjoys snow skiing and hiking, but her favorite activity is spending time with her two grandchildren.
