The Oddie Project

Douglas Wiele is the Founding Partner and President of Foothill Partners, Incorporated.  Foothill Partners is a retail property developer/owner based in El Dorado Hills, California. The company, founded in 1994, acquires, develops and operates properties in partnership with private and institutional equity funds.

Foothill is focused on smaller, faster infill retail and mixed-use commercial developments. The firm is actively developing in Northern California and Northern Nevada. Current projects in process are located in downtown Monterey, in downtown Truckee, California, in the Midtown District of Reno, Nevada, and in Sparks, Nevada.

A citizen of Reno since 1975, Nettie Oliverio has been an IT Consultant and perennial volunteer supporter of the arts in her adopted state. Working with a local commercial retail project to infuse arts and culture into a daily-needs shopping environment, in 2019 Nettie joined the team of visionary developers of the Reno Public Market to revitalize the beloved Shoppers Square at the south end of Wells Ave and Midtown.  As a partner with Foothill Partners in the role of Arts and Culture Director, Nettie collaborates in all the company’s projects to incorporate Culture and Commerce to build and sustain Community.

An economic engine and community-building non-profit, The Generator Inc., found itself in 2019 on the verge of homelessness. Many Rotarians have been to Burning Man and know its importance to our region on many levels, as well as the impact of the art brought to the Playa by artists from around the world.  Foothill Partners made it their mission, as developers to bring Culture and Commerce together to create Community, to create a home for The Generator, and to create an environment around it to help it thrive.
