Reno/Tahoe Airport Authority

Daren Griffin, is the President/CEO for the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority. He is responsible for leading and directing the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), and the Reno-Stead Airport (RTS), with an operating budget of $46 million. Formerly the Director of the PDXNext Program at the Port of Portland, Mr. Griffin became the CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority on August 3, 2020, following a nationwide search. Griffin has also served as Interim Director of Business Properties, the Director of Operations and the General Aviation Manager for the Port of Portland, the State Airports Manager for the State of Oregon and the Director of Yuma International Airport in Arizona.

Mr. Griffin holds a bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Arizona, served in the U.S. Army and is an Accredited Airport Executive (AAE). He resides in Reno with his wife and three children.
