Chris Hoff
Reno Tahoe Open Foundation

Originally from Portland, OR, Mr. Hoff graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon (Eugene, OR) in 1997. Shortly after graduating, Mr. Hoff went to work for Peter Jacobsen Productions (PJP), an event management company, in Beaverton, OR. In late 1998, PJP was hired by the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation to produce and manage the inaugural Reno Tahoe Open in 1999. Mr. Hoff spent seven years working on the PGA TOUR event in northern Nevada before heading back to Eugene to manage another PGA TOUR event on the Nationwide Tour called the Oregon Classic.

In 2009, Mr. Hoff went to work for Kendall Auto Group as Marketing Director. There he managed all aspects of the group’s marketing including traditional media, web, social media and grass roots/sponsorship for over 25 different franchises across four western states (Oregon, Alaska, Idaho & Montana).

In May of 2013, Mr. Hoff went back to work directly for the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation as Tournament Director of the Reno-Tahoe Open and Executive Director of the Foundation. In July of 2014, Barracuda Networks was announced as the tournament’s title sponsor; thus naming it the Barracuda Championship.

Mr. Hoff remains as the Executive Director of the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation (the operating and managing arm of the Barracuda Championship) as well as the Tournament Director for the Barracuda Championship.

Mr. Hoff serves as a board member of The First Tee of Northern Nevada and is the proud husband to wife Karen and father to son Darren.
