Monday’s program is our annual youth club speech contest. Please come and support our club’s effort to develop and reward youth leadership and speaking skills while spreading awareness of Rotary’s “service above self” goals. We have invited high school students to speak on the topic, “Rotary is a volunteer organization, how have you volunteered towards promoting HOPE in the world, and how did you see HEARTS impacted through the experience?” 

We expect 6 to 8 students from local high schools to give speeches on this topic. Club members will be judging the students and we award $500 for first place, $400 for second, $300 for third and $100 for each remaining participant. These top three students will then participate in our Area Club Speech Contest and those winners will then participate in the District Speech Contest.
