Par Tolles is Founder and CEO of Tolles Development Company specializing in the acquisition and development of commercial real estate in Northern Nevada.  Par is a 25 year real estate veteran having served in multiple corporate capacities in commercial real estate during his career.  He most recently served as President of Basin Street Properties prior to starting his own company in 2016.  Par is actively involved in a number of downtown issues including a public/private task force focused on transitional housing and is currently Vice Chairman of the Business Improvement District for downtown Reno.  He is a current member of a wage task force under EDAWN and is an active board member for Northern Nevada Hopes.  Par is married to Jill Tolles and has two teenage daughters Riley and Mia.

As a devoted member of the Reno community, Ms. Carano has held positions on the boards of many important organizations over the span of her career. Some of these include the Nevada Commission on Tourism, The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association, Downtown Reno Maintenance District Advisory Committee, Nevada Women’s Fund, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada, Founding Liaison between Eldorado Hotel Casino –Wooster High School’s Partner in Education, the boards of both the Regional Alliance for Downtown and the Washoe County Child Advocacy Center and, most recently, chair of downtown Reno’s newly created Business Improvement District. 

Ms. Carano began her career in operations at the Eldorado Resorts in 1973, culminating as VP of Hotel Operations in 2016. She now leads Eldorado Resorts Reno’s The Row as Executive Director of Community Relations, spearheading the corporation’s commitment to the betterment of programs in education, arts and culture and civic giving in northern Nevada.
